FIFA U-17 World cup: Ghana Crash-out

Mali upset Ghana 2-1 Saturday win as a shock-riddled weekend of 2017 FIFA U-17 Wold cup in India, Mali, were the first to score leading Ghana 1-0 during half time.

More of the same in the second half. Mali seem content to sit back and defend, but that is a bit of a risky approach with a lead this slim. Djemoussa Traore scores Mali’s second. Horrible error from Ghana goalkeeper Danlad as he rushes off his line and Traore slots home from distance. Mohammed scores the spot kick to give Ghana a lifeline. Ghana need to attack even more. An equaliser was almost certain to take the game to penalties, though Ghana’s relentless attacking just wasn’t enough as Mali withstood their pressure and have made it through to the semi-finals of the tournament. Mali is the first country to have qualified for the semi finals.
